<p>PURPOSE:To improve the quality of a finished metallic coating without reducing the width of a pattern even if the amt. of shaving air is increased to enhance the brightness of the metallic coating by arranging the blowoff ports of the shaving air so that its discharge direction is twisted with respect to a rotating shaft. CONSTITUTION:The blowoff ports 6 for discharging shaving air are arranged on a pitch circle having a diameter slightly larger than that of a bell-shaped cup 3, and the discharge direction of the port 6 is inclined to a specified angle beta(angle of torsion) with respect to the axis of the cup 3 in the plane including the tangent of the cup 3 and twisted backward with respect to the rotating direction P of the cup 3. Consequently, the shaving air discharged from the port 6 follows a spiral course, and centrifugal force acts on the air. As a result, the shaving air resists the suction force due to the negative pressure generated in the region before the cup 3, the width of a pattern is not reduced, and nonuniform coating is avoided.</p> |
