PURPOSE:To improve efficiency in generating ozone by forming a part for holding two high-voltage cables at a specified distance from each other over their entire length. CONSTITUTION:A surface creepage is generated in an ozonizer 55 by a high voltage impressed between electrodes, and ozone is generated from the oxygen in the cold air which has been discharged from a discharge port 18, passed through an ozonolysis catalyst 68 from an air passage 70 and introduced. The generated ozone is supplied to an ozonolysis catalyst 69 along with the malodorous component in the cold air. The malodorous component held by the catalysts 68 and 69 is allowed to react with the ozone, oxidized and decomposed, and the cold air is deodorized. The surplus ozone is decomposed by the catalyst 69 into oxygen molecule. The remaining oxygen flowing backward is decomposed by the catalyst 68. Consequently, the cold air is efficiently deodorized. |
