An arrangement having slip rings, making it possible to supply electrical current to the coil windings which are arranged on a rotary shaft (34) so as to rotate with the latter, or to receive electrical current from such windings, comprises a first slip ring (36) made of electrically conducting material, which is practically cylindrical and which is mounted on the rotary shaft, in a manner contiguous with a first end (32) of this rotary shaft, so as to rotate with the latter. According to the invention, this arrangement is characterised in that it comprises a second slip ring (38) made of electrically conducting material which is electrically insulated from the first slip ring, is practically planar and is mounted on the first end of the rotary shaft so as to rotate with the latter. <IMAGE>
