<p>PURPOSE: To enable bending, and prevent breakage in transporting, storing and moving a product by combining a hinge means having a specified harness with a base plate means of a semirigid or rigid material. CONSTITUTION: A hinge means 14 is combined with a portion of a shaft A of a board means 12 of a semirigid or rigid material to form a product 10 having a bendable section. The board means 12 has a hardness of about 35 Shore D and the hinge means has a hardness of about 25 to 60 Shore D, so that they are bent at least to 90 deg.. The hardness of the hinge means 14 is made lower than the hardness of the base plate means 12 by 20 Shore D so that it can be bent to at least 150 deg.. According to the material quality of the board means 12, the hardness of the board means 12 and the hinge means 14 are suitably selected to enable bending.</p> |
