<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to set the sequence process corresponding to a printing head automatically by judging the number of the optically writing elements of a printing head, selecting and setting the reference time data for control in correspondence with the number of the elements, and controlling the sequence. CONSTITUTION:An MPU20 outputs black printing data MDATA into a NAND gate 26 at first and outputs a clock signal (-MCLK) into a NAND gate 27 at the same time. Thus the counting-up is performed. Then the MPU 20 repeats the output of the clock signal (-MCLK) and the counting-up step. A shift register 21 sequentially transfers the printing data which are inputted through the NAND gate 26 in synchronization with the clock signal (-MCLK) during this period. When the printing data are further inputted after the printing data are inputted into all areas, the black printing data which are inputted at first are inputted into the MPU 20 from the shift register 21. Thereafter, the sequence corresponding to a type A is set with the MPU 20.</p> |
