PURPOSE:To perfectly bring a lining pipe into close contact with the inner wall of a deteriorated pipe by a method wherein one end of a folded tube is fixed to one end of the deteriorated pipe and a molding jig is moved to the other end of the tube while the tube is heated by introducing a heated fluid into the tube. CONSTITUTION:The left end part of a folded tube 30 is fixed to the left end part of a deteriorated pipe 38 by a fixing jig 40. The folded tube 30 is drawn in the deteriorated tube 38 and a molding jig 42 is mounted to the left end part of the tube 30 while a cap 56 is mounted to the right end part thereof. At this time, heated stream is sent into the folded tube 30 from a steam generator 48 through the molding jig 42. The folded tube 30 in the vicinity of a steam jet orifice 52 is heated to become a softened state. A taking-up winch 62 is driven to pull wire ropes 58, 26 and the molding jig 42 moves to the right. The folded tube 30 is expanded in its diameter to be pressed to the inner wall of the deteriorated pipe 38. When the molding jig 42 moves from the left end to the right end, the lining of the deteriorated pipe 38 is completed over the total length thereof. |
