The equipment provides a controlled sequence of ultrasonic and jet cleaning of dental and similar objects. It has a tank (1) in which is suspended a rotatable cage (19) for holding the objects to be cleaned. Cleaning liquid can be admitted to the tank (1) from a sump (11) and can also be pumped under pressure through nozzles (15) to impinge on the object in the cage. Fixed to the bottom of the tank (1) is an ultrasonic generator (2). A programmed cleaning cycle involves rotation of the cage (19) containing the object to be cleaned in the filled tank (1) with the ultrasonic generator operated for a given time. The tank is then emptied and clean liquid is played on the object in the rotating cage through nozzles (15). USE/ADVANTAGE - Consistant cleaning action. Avoids costly manual techniques which may damage the object.
