Adjustable external mirror for vehicle - with single control for tilt and twist adjustment

The mirror and its housing (48) are moved as one unit by a linkage from a single control lever (5) inside the vehicle. The linkage is attached to the mirror mounting at several points (C,D,E) and includes a hollow shaft (5) and a concentric control mounting (16). The control lever is twisted and tilted for moving the mirror in all possible directions. The pivot mounting (5b) for the control lever is in the vehicle door. A cranked arm (6) operates the linkage with a ball and socket coupling to the linkage. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple adjustment of external mirror on vehicle. Improved deg. of adjustment, adjustment not easily jammped.
