PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a wire rod by providing a spring and a washer for compressing the spring on a wire rod leading-in end part of the device. CONSTITUTION:A wire rod 4 passes through an inserting device 1 and fed in from a guide part 7, and a measuring probe 3 is attached to the tip. Compressed air is led in from a compressed air port 13, a valve 11 is opened by a lever 12 and it is fed into a tube 2, and the measuring probe 3 is moved. As the probe 3 moves, the wire rod 4 is drawn out, and soon a stopper 5 attached to the wire rod 4 runs against a washer 10 in an outer cylinder 8. Thereafter, the stopper 5 drags the washer 10 and compresses a spring 9, and stops at a place in which spring force and compressed air force are well- balanced with each other. Also, a part of compressed air works on the inside of the outer cylinder 8 through an opening part 13', therefore, the stopper 5 moves against not only spring force but also compressed air force. Accordingly, by setting suitably interval width between the opening part 13' and the wire rod 4, impact force working on the wire rod 4 is further relaxed and the damage of the wire rod can be prevented. |
