A loudspeaker transducer has a coil attached to an electrically conducting bobbin. In particular, the bobbin carries a second winding which may be connected, in series or parallel with the moving coil. Pref., the transducer may be constructed from compressed material which may be super-conducting. Coil may be of aluminium. USE/ADVANTAGE - Loudspeaker coils/transducers; better stability, higher efficiency, improved impulse response.
