The pipe clamp for holding a sectional pipe, esp. exhaust pipe, consists of a ring (4) with slits in enclosing the pipes being held and joining them in the lengthwise axis of the pipes. Both ends of the ring (4) are outward-curved and held tightly together. The ring (4) has a conically stepped part (7). The difference in the dia. near the stepped part (7) matches the wall thickness of the larger of the two pipes being held. USE/ADVANTAGE - The pipe connection is sealed better by a slotted ring joining two pipes have a stepped part.
