Free-piston IC engine - has turbocharger system and piston moving in U=shaped channel

The engine (1-12) directs a direct drive force, by exciting a rapid sequence of centrifugal force impulses. A piston is oscillated in a housing with a semi-circular guide channel, by combustion pressure. Fresh air/exahust control is by the free, oscillating piston, which controls one inlet and two outlet slots. - At atmospheric pressure, fresh air is processed by fuel injection into the compression channel of the turbo-charger. For use in space, combustion air and oxygen are contained in pressurised tanks, and processed in a special mixer. The fuel/air mixture is ignited by compression heat, at self-ignition temp. Starting of the engine is via outlet valves. For starting a starting compressor or oxygen tanks are required.
