PURPOSE:To reduce running cost by mounting a rotary body equipped with radial mandrels and providing holding means winding a blank around the mandrels on the mandrels and successively arranging a supply apparatus, a folding apparatus, a splice heater, a splice sealer, a bottom heater and a bottom seal apparatus. CONSTITUTION:An intermittently driven horizontal rotary body 31 having eight radial mandrels 32 is arranged above the start end of the feed route of a con tainer feed conveyor. A blank supply apparatus 34, a blank folding apparatus 35, a splice heater 36, a splice seal apparatus 37, a bottom heater 38, a bottom breaker 39, a bottom seal apparatus 40 and a container transfer apparatus 41 are respectively arranged at the first to eight treatment stations I - VIII. By this constitution, a bottomed cylindrical container is molded from a flat blank and, since the flat blank inexpensive as compared with a blank flatly folded so as to be made openable in a cylindrical shape can be used, its running cost can be reduced. |
