PURPOSE:To provide an economic and safe water heater by a method wherein permanent magnets are rotated as required to produce an eddy current in the conductor and hot water may continuously be supplied whenever it is required. CONSTITUTION:Even number of permanent magnets 3a and 3b are arranged at the outer and inner circumferential surfaces of the rotary body 1 in such a manner as the polarities of the adjoining magnets adjacent to the surface of the cylindrical hollow annular conductor 4, these permanent magnets are moved to produce an eddy current under an alternating magnetic flux in the conductor 4 and then to produce a heat. Then the hot water is taken out from the ports for water arranged in the conductor 4. That is, as required, the permanent magnets are rotated to produce an eddy current in the conductor and hot water may always be supplied continuously whenever it is required, so that it is possible to provide a safe and economic water heater which does not show any danger of fire or toxication as found in the petroleum or gas combustion type heater. |
