<p>PURPOSE:To solve problems which a rolling to seal structure between a paper can be body and a metal lid, and improve the strength by a method wherein a protrusion is provided to the turned edge of the metal lid. CONSTITUTION:When a metal lid 2 is rolled to seal onto a paper can body 1, a protrusion 7 is provided to a turned edge 3 of the metal lid 2. The protrusion 7 which is provided on the turned edge 3 of the metal lid 2 bites into the end part of the paper can body 1, and the turned edge part 3 of the metal lid 2 on which the protrusion 7 has not been provided seals by rolling the end part of the paper can body 1 in the same way as a conventional rolling to seal structure. By this method, the rolling to seal strength between the paper can body 1 and the metal lid 2 becomes stronger, and a structure which is sufficiently fit for the use as a container can for a content which adds an internal pressure such as a carbonated beverage, etc.</p> |
