PURPOSE:To transmit contents of telephone to a reception station as characters by converting the inputted voice signal to a character code in the base station and transmitting it to the reception station corresponding to the recognized telephone number without wires and demodulating the modulated signal in the reception station to output a character signal. CONSTITUTION:When a pager communication base station receives designation of a call code from a telephone set of the base station, the recorded voice signal is stored in an analog memory 2, and the input to the memory 2 is terminated at the time of detecting an end code by an end code discriminator 4. The part of the call number out of contents of the memory 2 is inputted to a call number voice recognizing machine 6, and the recognized call number is inputted to an I/O device 8. The business part is converted from the voice to a character code by a voice/code conversion unit 10 and is stored in a RAM 11 through an input device 8. When a transmission command is issued, a pulse signal is taken out by an input/output device 12 and has the frequency shifted by a modulator 14 and is sent to a transmitter 16 at a prescribed communication speed and is transmitted as a radio signal from a transmission antenna 18. The reception station demodulates the modulated signal to output characters. |
