<p>PURPOSE: To automate nibbling by arranging a piece parting apparatus to a tool station in a turret punch press producing a piece from a sheet material. CONSTITUTION: When producing a piece 24 from a sheet material 22 by a turret punch press, the piece 24 attached to the sheet material 22 with a tab 26 is cut off by a parting apparatus 34 consisting of a parting punch 36 and a pressure plate apparatus 44 arranged to one of tool stations. Further, the pressed piece 24 is held on the same plane as the sheet material 22, transported and removed from a drop door. By this method, the manual nibbling work removing the piece 24 is eliminated, it is automated for man power saving.</p> |
