PURPOSE:To function with small power, fix exactly the cleaning time, and improve the utilization efficiency of heat by installing a mobile reflection type red-heat heater which is attached to a filter with self-cleaning function and cleans the filter with heating from its end part and a display part informing the filter cleaning time after the number and hours of operation are detected at the main body of a unit. CONSTITUTION:At a filter 11 a suction port 12 is gradually blinded by the adhesion of oily dust 10. Then, by a display part 20 informing the cleaning time of a filter 11 on the basis of the data from a detecting part 19 detecting the number and ours of operation of an exhaust fan 6, a switch 18 is periodi cally moved to the cleaning side. Thereby, a heater 14 is red-heated and the part of the filter 11 adjacent to the heater is directly or through a reflection plate 13 heated to about 300 deg.C. Then, oily dust adhered on the surface of the filter 11 is decomposed with oxidation by the action of oxidizing catalyst and after a fixed time elapsed, a motor 17 is operated to shift slightly the location of the heater 14 and non-cleaned part of the filter 11 is heated and cleaned in turn. When the heater 14 is moved from one end to the other end and stops its moving, the cleaning of the filter 11 is finished. |
