A device for mounting of electric engine heaters in engine blocks and of the type which comprises an electric heating element (20) which is secured to the bottom of a sleeve (22) that is open towards the cooling fluid space of the engine block and surrounds the heat emitting portion of the heating element and is insertable through a hole (13) in a wall (21) of the engine block. Either the sleeve (22) or the wall of the hole (13) has, in adjacent portions, a ring groove (14) wherein is housed a toroidal coil spring (15), adapted to prevent axial movement of the sleeve (22) in the hole (13). |
