PURPOSE: To efficiently use the accumulated power of a satellite network system by forming a satellite arranged in the latitude direction on a polar orbit network. CONSTITUTION: All satellites, such as satellites 12, 16, 17 in effect have polar orbits, and when the satellites circulate in the latitude direction, this means that the earth revolves in the longitudinal direction under the satellite network. Each satellite has plural antenna beams, each beam has a prescribed communicatable area (cell), and the total number of cells of respective satellites forms a larger communicatable area for the all the satellites. Each satellite is programmed, power is supplied from an earth based control station 14 to the antenna beams of each satellite at prescribed time. Only the power in response to a demand in respective antenna cells of each satellite is supplied to the satellite by a low-voltage linear power amplifier. |
