<p>PURPOSE:To improve cell multiplication by injecting cells to be cultured to one space of a cell culture container divided by a porous carbon film, feeding a nutritive substance and oxygen through the carbon film and removing the product and waste matter from an outlet. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of porous carbon hollow fiber membrane 2 having 0.01-5mum average pore diameter (mercury permeation under pressure) and 10-80 pore volume ratio are fixed by a potting material and end conduits 3 and 3' communicated with space of the membrane 2 are used for feeding a nutritive substance and removing the waste matter. Side conduits 4 and 4' are used as a feed opening for cell at starting of culture. Then cells are injected from the conduits 4 and 4' to a cell culture container 1, which is sealed with end caps, a culture solution in a storage tank 7 is introduced through a tube pump 6, a silicone tube 5 and the conduit 3 to the container, the cells are cultured, extracted from the conduit 3', filtered and recycled to the storage tank 7.</p> |
