<p>PURPOSE:To remove the coatings of all surfaces of a plurality of coated wires by installing a mechanism for simultaneously inverting a rotary brush removing the coating of a straight-angle coated wire and a chuck holding the wires before and behind the brush by 90 deg.. CONSTITUTION:A straight-angle coated wire 8 consisting of a plurality of coated wires is held by air chucks 28a, 28b. Rotating brushes 1 are pushed against the coated wire 8, and moved in the longitudinal direction of the wire, thus removing the coating 8a. When the shaft of a rotary actuator 31 is turned, a support base 10, the air chucks 28a, 28b mounted on the support base 10 and the brushes 1 are revolved. When a turning shaft 21 is rotated by 90 deg., a plurality of the coated wires held by the pawls of the air chucks are rearranged from series array to parallel array. Coating removal operation is further conducted, thus taking the coatings 8b off the left and right surfaces of the coated wire 8.</p> |
