DEGRADABLE POLYMER MIXTURES

The present invention relates to photodegradable polymer mixtures which comprise a low-pressure polyolefin, a copolymer containing ethylene, carbon monoxide and optionally further polymerisable constituents, and small amounts of a carboxylic acid salt of an element having an atomic number of from 22 to 58. The polymer mixture contains from 0.5 to 5% by weight of carbon monoxide. The presence of both the carbon monoxide-containing copolymer and of the carboxylic acid salt improves the degradability of the resultant mixture.
