This invention relates to a seeding and seedling sheet and seeding and seedling method for use in seeding and seedling cereals, vegetables, flowering plants, and the like. The present invention provides a tacky sheet for seeding and seedling which is prepared by applying a tackifier containing ferromagnetic powder either in spotted form or in stripe form onto a sheet-like support consisting of water-soluble or water-dispersible paper or water-soluble polymer film. The present invention provides also a tacky sheet for seeding an seedling and a seeding and seedling method using the sheet which can provide efficiently seeding to desired positions in a desired density with heigh positional accuracy and can promote the growth at the time seedling by adapting the seeding and seedling method using the tacky sheet.
