<p>Apparatus for controlling a boiler while there is a demand for space heating or water heating within a building, the apparatus comprising a a first sensor 4 for sensing the air temperature TA outside the building, a second sensor 5 for sensing the fluid temperature TF in the boiler 1 and computer means 2 responsive to the sensors 4,5 for determining the values of a first lower temperature TL and a second higher temperature TH and for causing the boiler to fire when TF is lower than TL and to cease firing when TF is greater than TH wherein the values of TL and TH are dependent upon TA.</p> |
