<p>PURPOSE:To achieve making high speed of data transfer by a method wherein a data rearrangement circuit which rearranges a data to be outputted from a decode circuit in a transfer order to a thermal head and a RAM for write and read of said data are installed between the decode circuit and a data transfer circuit. CONSTITUTION:For instance, 1 dot of an image memory 1 is taken as 6 bits/ byte, structure of RAM 4 being taken as 8 bits/byte and a number of dots of a thermal head is taken as 640 dots. 8 dots content of an image data are read in a transfer order of the thermal heat 7, which are decoded with a decode circuit 2. Thereafter, they are inputted to a data rearrangement circuit 3, and are written in a RAM 4 as a structure of 8 dots/byte. This procedure is performed for 640 dot contents. Those operation are controlled by a control signal of a first control signal generation circuit 5A. Then, when said data is transferred to the thermal head 7 via a data transfer circuit 6, 640 dot contents i. e. a data of 80 bytes is read to be transferred.</p> |
