PURPOSE:To enable a bearing outer ring to be manufactured smoothly and in a short time irrespective of the degree of viscosity in a high polymer elastic material and without producing air bubbles by, while rotating a mold which serves to support an outer ring and a thin metallic plate, pouring a liquid high polymer elastic material into the central part of the mold and then curing the high polymer elastic material in a state of being raised and flowed in the space between the outer ring main body and the thin metallic plate by applying centrifugal force. CONSTITUTION:The manufacture of an outer ring is effected in accordance with following processes. A rotating mold 15 is left in a state of being pre-heated at 125 deg.C and then an outer ring main body 11 and a thin metallic plate material 13A are fabricated therein. An upper lid 18 is fixed on the rotating mold 15. The rotating mold 15 is made to rotate at 1,150 rpm about the axis of the outer ring main body 11 by means of a rotatingly driving motor 21. In the central part of a bottom surface of the rotating mold 15, a liquid high poly mer elastic material is poured from an opening of the upper lid 18. After a lapes of 10 minutes since the high polymer elastic material is injected therein, a rotation of the rotating mold is stopped and by keeping it for an hour in a state of making the temperature of the rotating mold at 125 deg.C, the high polymer elastic material is subjected to vulcanization (vulcanization in mold). |
