PURPOSE:To obtain a flame retardant fiber having excellent tensile strength by dipping a natural fiber in a liquid in which coating film-forming material is previously dissolved in a condensed phosphoric acid solution, drying the dipped natural fiber and reacting the natural fiber with the dipping liquid. CONSTITUTION:A natural fiber is dipped in a liquid in which coating film forming material is previously dissolved in a condensed phosphoric acid solution derived from phosphoric acid and urea and dried and reacted with a dipping liquid to provide the aimed fiber. |
