PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration caused by unnecessary driving of a photosensitive body and to prolong a life by outputting a stop indicating signal indicating the stop of the driving of the photosensitive body to an image forming means in the case that processing for developing image information is not completed in a previously fixed period after outputting a start indicating signal for an image forming action. CONSTITUTION:A developing means 28 outputs the start indicating signal for the image forming action to the image forming means 7, 8 and 26 and outputs the signal indicating the stop of the driving of the photosensitive body 17 to the image forming means 7, 8 and 26 in the case that the processing for developing the image information is not completed in the previously fixed period after outputting the start indicating signal. Therefore, the photosensitive body 17 is prevented from being kept driven even in the case that it takes a long time from outputting the start indicating signal until starting the output of the developed image information. Thus, the unnecessary driving of the photosensitive body is prevented and the life is prolonged. |
