PURPOSE:To control the flow rate of a reforming raw gas in a range below a pressure loss causing no fluidization of a catalyst layer by detecting the pressure loss of the reforming raw gas running in the catalyst layer of a reformer tube by a differential pressure detector, and comparing this pressure loss with a determined pressure loss value causing no fluidization of the catalyst by a comparator. CONSTITUTION:The pressure loss when a reforming raw gas flows in the catalyst layer 5 of a reforming tube 4 is detected by a differential pressure detector 25. The detected pressure loss is inputted to a comparator 26, in which it is compared with a determined value of pressure loss. When it is above this determined value, an output signal of a fixed level voltage is outputted. When the power quantity of load is largely increased, and the reforming raw gas flow rate is so much increased that the pressure loss running in the catalyst layer exceeds the determined value, a flow rate control valve 9 is controlled by the deviation between the output signal from the comparator 26 and the output signal of the detected flow rate from a flow rate detector 8 in such a manner as to running a fixed quantity of reforming raw gas flow rate calculated by a flow rate calculator 27. |
