PURPOSE: To determine the lag of a long-term predictive filter by selecting a lag in the harmonic relation as a lag parameter when the lag in the harmonic relation with a lag, to which the maximum value of a number corresponds, is existent and selecting the lag, to which the maximum value of the number corresponds, as the lag parameter when no lag of the number is in the harmonic relation. CONSTITUTION: Correlative values for trial lag for various lengths are calculated, the prescribed number of trial lags having the maximum values among the calculated values are selected and a lag Dp, to which the maximum value of the number corresponds, is found. Then, it is determined whether any one of lags of the number is in the harmonic relationship with the lag Dp or not and when any one of lags of the number has the harmonic relationship with the lag Dp at least, that number is selected as a lag parameter Lopen. Besides, when no lag of the number has the harmonic relatiopnship with the lag Dp, the Dp is selected as the lag parameter Lopen. Thus, the lag of the long-term predictive filter can be determined. |
