<p>A circuit for automatically selecting a music in a magnetic tape comprises a position signal reproduction circuit (1) for reproducing a position signal recorded on a position signal track of the two track magnetic tape, a pulse counter (3) for counting a position signal pulse counter (3) for counting a position signal pulse of the position signal reproduction circuit, latches (RT1-RT3) for temporarily storing the address of a selected music, an encoder (4) for providing the out-put corresponding to the address, a comparator (5) for comparing the outputs of the pulse counter and the encoder, and a control signal generator (6) for generating the tape-running control signal in response to the output of (5).</p> |
