<p>PURPOSE:To arrange a tape draw-out guide member and an annular driving member on planes with the same height without generating mutual interferene and to reduce depth dimension by arranging the annular driving member in a space sandwiched between a cylinder and a chassis. CONSTITUTION:The annular driving member 14, 18 are arranged so that part or whole of them can occupy the space sandwiched between the cylinder 2 and the chassis 1. Furthermore, the mechanism is comprised in such a way that the cylinder 2 is arranged on holding members 32-34 to hold the annular driving members 14, 18 at prescribed positions, and connecting member 49 to mount the cylinder 2 on the chassis 1 is pierced through the holding members 32-34. Therefore, since it is enough to secure a moving space required for the motion of the tape draw-out guide members 13, 17, and 19 as the back space of the cylinder 2, the depth dimension of a magnetic recording and reproducing device can be reduced, and also, height dimension can be reduced. Thereby, the simultaneous reduction of the height and depth dimension of the device are attained, resulting in its miniaturization.</p> |
