<p>PURPOSE:To output an output data correctly by detecting it from carry outputs of 5 4-adic counters that a recovered clock is interrupted or unstable and resetting an input and output timing of an elastic buffer device to the initial state. CONSTITUTION:A ring counter 2 and a 5th 4-adic counter 20 are reset to the initial state by using an output 19 resulting from differentiating in a differentiating circuit 18 a tail end of an output of a 2-input OR gate 17 receiving a carry output 16 of a 6th 4-adic counter 15 and an output 14 resulting from ORing 4 carry outputs of 1st-4th 4-adic counters 30-33. Thus, the elastic buffer device is operated normally even when 1st clock is in a burst state or further unstable and pulse noise is imposed on the 1st clock resulting in increasing in clock number than that of a 2nd clock.</p> |
