ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE FILM AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE:To produce an electrically conductive film having excellent solvent resistance by dissolving a polyparabanic acid resin and an electrically conductive substance in a solvent, casting the solution on a substrate resistant to the solvent, drying the cast film, peeling the film from the substrate and heat treating the product. CONSTITUTION:A composition produced by compounding 100 pts.wt. of a polyparabanic acid resin and 2-200 pts.wt. (preferably 5-150 pts.wt.) of an electrically conductive substance is dissolved in a solvent capable of dissolving the resin (e.g. N,N-dimethylformamide). The solution is cast on a substrate resistant to the solvent (preferably a polyester film) and dried at 60-150 deg.C until the residual solvent content reaches preferably 5-0.5 wt.%. The formed film is peeled off from the substrate and heat-treated at >=130 deg.C (preferably >=160 deg.C) to obtain the objective electrically conductive polyparabanic acid resin film having excellent solvent resistance.
