发明名称 PRODUCTION OF OXIDE SUPERCONDUCTING SINTERED MOLDED BODY
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an oxide superconducting sintered molded body having a high critical current density and not causing deterioration by compression- molding and calcining powder of an oxide superconductor and sintering the calcined body after putting in or on a silver bath. CONSTITUTION:Powder of an oxide superconductor such as Y1Ba2Cu3O7-x as a Y-contg. oxide is compression-molded and calcined. When the calcined body is sintered at >=1,200 deg.C in a crucible, silver is interposed between the calcined body and the crucible. This silver acts to prevent the counter diffusion between the material of the crucible and the material of the superconductor and to also prevent the joining of the superconductor to the crucible at the time of crystallization at 900-1,000 deg.C. When the resulting sintered material (bulk) of Y1Ba2Cu3O7-x is taken out, the silver is melted at 970 deg.C and removed and the sintered material is slowly cooled. A superconducting sintered body is easily taken out.
