PURPOSE:To produce a resin-impregnated product containing uniformly impregnated polyphenylene oxide resin, by impregnating a substrate with a liquid produced by dissolving a resin composition containing polyphenylene oxide, a resin having high crosslinking property, a polymerization initiator and a specific amount of a crosslinking assistant. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition composed of (A) polyphenylene oxide, (B) a resin having excellent crosslinking property, e.g. 1,2-polybutadiene, styrene- butadiene copolymer, etc., (C) a crosslinking assistant, preferably triallyl (iso) cyanurate, diallyl phthalate monomer (prepolymer), etc., and (D) a polymerization initiator such as dicumyl peroxide, etc., is dissolved in a solvent and the obtained solution is impregnated into a substrate and dried to obtain the objective resin-impregnated product. The amount of the components A, B, C and D are preferably 80-100pts.wt., 20-40pts.wt., 40-130pts.wt. and 0.5-5pts.wt., respectively and the amount of the component C is 30-80wt%, preferably 30-66wt% based on 100wt% of the sum of the components A-D. |
