PURPOSE:To inform the operator of the increase in the amount of heat emission from a motor, or to provide controllability for the drive of the motor with increase in the amount of heat emission from the motor, by furnishing a sensing means for the temp. of the motor and an informing means about the signal given therefrom. CONSTITUTION:An operational part is installed in continuity to the tail of the insertion part 2 of an endoscope 1, and an ultrasonic motor(USM) 32 for driving the curved part 9 is incorporated to this operational part. A control device 6 in connection with this operational part is fitted with a curving motor driver circuit 15 to drive the USM, a temp. measuring circuit 16 to measure the temp. of the USM, and a display control circuit 17 to subject the obtained temp. measuring signal to a conversion process into a signal which is capable of being entered into a superimposer 18. These display control circuit and superimposer constitute an informing means 22. Thereby a temp. rise of the USM is informed to the operator through said temp. measuring circuit and informing means from a temp. measuring element 20 installed in the neighborhood of the USM, and thereby the USM can be avoided from overload condition, which should ensure stable operations. |
