摘要

PURPOSE: To prevent a deterioration of a dye image and to form a complete color image by adopting a chalcogenopyrylo-arylidene as an infrared absorbing material. CONSTITUTION: A dye layer and a dye of the layer are dye-donor element for a laser-induced dye thermal dye transfer comprising a support having thereon a dye layer and an infrared-absorbing material which is different from the dye in the layer. In this case, a chalgogenopyrylo-arylidene dye is used as the infrared-absorbing material. The element is used to form a dye transfer image. The transfer of the image forms the dye transfer image by heating the element in the form of the image by a laser and transferring the dye image to the element.
