<p>PURPOSE:To remarkably shorten data transfer time and to accelerate a printing operation by providing a plurality of signal exchange means for outputting print signals input in series in parallel, and composing the exchange means to respectively input the print signals. CONSTITUTION:A clock signal CK is generated during transfer time T, and print data D1, D2 are respectively transferred to shift registers 15, 15b; 15c, 15d of a driving circuit IC1. A latch trigger -LT is input to latch circuits 16a-16d at time t2 in which the transfer is finished to latch the data of the respective registers. On the other hand, strobe signals -SB1, -SB2 are output for duration times, a NAND gate 17 conducts, and the data D1, D2 are output to a switching circuit 14. The circuit 14 supplies or interrupts driving power to a heat generating element 12 based on the data, thereby printing by the IC1.</p> |
