<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the influence of an interference component such as cross talk, etc., from being received by precisely adjusting a tracking phase between a rotary head and a magnetic tape so that a cross talk level can be made minimum. CONSTITUTION:An envelop detection circuit 27 supplies the cross talk level, which is obtained by executing envelop detection to a noise component including a cross talk component inputted from a gate circuit 26, to a microcomputer 16. While observing the change of an envelop level, which is inputted from a peak detection circuit 15, and the cross talk level, delay time for a rotary head 12 to exactly scan a recording track on the magnetic tape is set to a variable delay circuit 8. As a result, the tracking phase is made near the tracking phase, where the envelop level of a reproducing frequency modulation luminance signal YFM is made maximum and the cross talk level is made minimum. Thus, exact tracking control is executed without being affected by the interference component.</p> |
