PURPOSE: To secure bonding between a glass plate and a metal frame in case of a fire by ending the ege of a glass plate before a metal frame, and fitting the projecting part of an adapter tape of a balance adapter in a storing groove. CONSTITUTION: An edge 4 of a glass plate 1 is ended before a metal frame 2, and a balance adapter 5 is connected to the edge 4. The balance adapter 5 is provided with two metal adapter tapes 6, 6 affixed in the range of the edge 4 of the glass plate 1, and the projecting parts 7, 7 are fitted in a storing groove 3 of the metal frame 2. Further, a bar-like non-metal spacer 8 is disposed between the projecting parts 7, 7, and a strip 9 formed by a steel plate with a specific thickness of 1 mm or less is affixed on the adapter tapes 6, 6. Thus, in case of a fire, the occurrence of a large temperature gradient between the main surface of the glass plate 1 and the edge 4 is inhibited and bonding between the metal frame 2 and the galss plate 1 can be secured. |
