PURPOSE:To improve comfortableness in driving and abrasion resistance of the tire by respectively specifying percentage of elongation in break of a belt cord and a band cord and an angle of a cord and setting the vulcanizing stretch of a band layer to a specific range. CONSTITUTION:Belt plies 9, 9 of two layers for forming a belt layer 7 are formed by arranging and crossing steel cords or the like having percentage of elongation of 6 to 10% during break with an angle of 10 to 20 deg. relative to the equator of a tire. The band plies 11 of a band layer 10 are formed by arranging inparallel steel cord or the like having percentage of elongation of 6 to 10% during break with an angle of 0 to 5 deg. relative to the equator of the tire and coated with a rubber material. Then, the vulcanizing stretch of the band layer (BD2-BD1)/BD1 obtained by the outside diameter BD1 of the band layer 10 before vulcanization and the outside diameter BD2 of a vulcanizing metal mold is set from 0.003 to 0.02. According to this constitution, comfortableness in driving and abrasion resistance can be improved. |
