PURPOSE: To make a member to be supported free from force such as vibration transmitted to a supporting member due to the irregularity of road faces as much as possible by providing a semiactive damper assembly, fluid circuitry means, valve member, inertial body, elastic body, link means, etc. CONSTITUTION: A mounting device 10 is provided with a compression spring means 16 extending in parallel with a member 12 to be supported and a support member 14 and between them and also connected to the members 12 and 14 and a semiactive damper assembly 18. A piston rod 20 extends from one end of the cylinder 22 of the semiactive damper assembly 18 and is connected to either the members 12 or 14, that is, member 14, for example, and the other end of the cylinder 22 is connected to the other member 12. The relative perpendicular shift of the piston rod 20 and the cylinder 22 generates differences, making the working fluid in the fluid circuit interconnecting the variable volume chambers 26 and 27 arranged in the cylinder 22 of the semiactive damper assembly 18 flow. The damping characteristics of the damper assembly 18 quickly vary based on the absolute speed (Xi) of the member 12 and according to the command of a control means. |
