摘要 |
PURPOSE:To speed up the writing and reading out with light of a small spot diameter and to enhance the hole holdability in accordance with temp. rise by using the medium which can store permanent data bits based on a reversible intramolecular electron transfer reaction. CONSTITUTION:This medium consists of a guest molecule and a matrix (A) and has the nonuniform spread of the absorption line generated by the difference in the interaction between the component A and the guest molecule. The medium is so formed that >=2 permanent data bits can be stored in the frequency dimension of the guest molecule based on the single photon- or multiphoton-like reversible intramolecular electron transfer reaction between the electron donative guest (B) molecule and the electron receptive guest (C) molecule. This medium can be formed by adding, for example, metal-free tetraphenyl porphyrin as the component B and pyromellitic dianhydride as the component C in a polymethyl methacrylate soln. as the component A and casting the soln. onto a glass plate. |
