PURPOSE:To obtain an ultrasonic probe having characteristics with less variance of each element with high performance, by cutting the undesired part of a metallic thin plate electrode after connecting the probe to a vibrator. CONSTITUTION:A metallic thin plate 2b having a cut 2a is connected to an electrode 2d of a vibrator 2c at the part 2e lower than the cut 2a by means of the solder, the conductive paste, etc. Accordingly no connections is given at the area of 2f. Then the area of the 2f is folded and cut off, and a cut groove 2i is formed to the vibrator 2c with the same pitch as the electrode 2b. After this, a packing material 2j is adhered to the electrode 2d, and the electrode 2b is folded toward the material 2j. |
