<p>PURPOSE:To attain normal reproduction without time distortion even when missing of a packet takes place by providing a numeral including information of sample number forming one packet as a packet header. CONSTITUTION:A count 230 at the end of reproduction of a packet 2 and a succeeding packet numeral TS are compared. In this case, since a packet 3 is missing, a numeral TS of 400 of a packet 4 is set, and since the value and the count 230 are not coincident when they are compared, a data of the packet 4 is stored in a memory 8, the count is succeedingly revised, and when the count is coincident with the numeral TS of 400, the data of the packet 4 is read from the memory 8 and the reproduction is restarted. Thus, the time when the packet 4 is stored in the memory 8 is a time length of the packet 3 and a sample number being a difference between the numerals TS of the packets 2,4 is counted to detect a missing time of the packet. Thus, the packet is reproduced without time distortion at all rimes at a receiver side independently of the time length of the packet.</p> |
