摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of creep phenomenon by providing a creep torque canceling means for bringing a forward 1st speed selecting gear set into power transmittable state and a reverse selecting gear set also into power transmittable state during stopping in forward running range. CONSTITUTION:During stopping without a will of departure, a 1-3 speed shifter 7 is moved to right to bring a 1st speed selecting gear set G1 into power transmittable state, a 6-R speed shifter 10 is moved to right to bring a reverse selecting gear set GR into power transmittable state, and other shifters 8, 9 are brought into neutral positions. Both clutches C1, C2 are released to cut engine power, whereby the running of a vehicle is prevented. Thus, the clutch C1 transmits a dragging torque through the viscosity of an operating shaft even during releasing, and this torque is reached to a final drive gear 13 as a creep torque to make the vehicle fine speed advance (creep phenomenon). However, the clutch C2 also generates dragging torque, which is transmitted reversely to the creep torque to the gear 13 and cancels this creep torque.
