<p>PURPOSE: To enable a quick response and scroll for the increment of one display line by changing the display to be watched through the increment corresponding to one scanning line of the display and interrupting the smooth scroll only when moving a window with display marker. CONSTITUTION: This method is composed of a display 1, storage device 3, display hardware 8 and rasterizer 9 or the like. Then, when an input device 10 is scrolled so as to directly move display marker 7 from the first position to the final position, the movement of the display marker 7 just for one line 2' of bit map image looks like a change for one scanning line 2 on the display, and it is sensed as the smooth scroll without delay between the input of an operator and the scroll on the display 1. In this case, the display marker can be moved to a final display window 6' without moving between the interposed lines 2' and can be 'jumped' from the first display window in a cache to the final display window outside the cache. Thus, the smooth scroll of quick response can be performed while keeping storage efficiency.</p> |
