The present invention relates to a centromedullary nail, characterised by the fact it comprises: a tubular body (100) which is provided with at least one longitudinal slot (104) over at least part of its length, a fixator (200) consisting of a threaded rod (210) which is provided with two inverse threads (212, 214) and is adapted to be engaged in the body (100), and at least two expansion means (250) which are engaged respectively on the two threads of the threaded rod (210) and engage in the slot (104) of the body in order to undergo expansion by means of rotation of the threaded rod (210) and thus to project from the outside of the body, at the level of the longitudinal slot thereof, in order thereby to form the anchoring of the nail in the medullary cavity of a fractured bone. <IMAGE>
